Unless explicitly stated on the documentation for a method, the accepted Web API call content types are:

application/json

Calls using any other content type (ex: text/plain) are not supported.

The name of the owning group associated with the configuration item.

The name of the owning group associated with the configuration item. This value is an empty string for Assets, as only standalone Configuration Items and Services can be owned/managed by a group.
